When I agreed to tweet a story idea every day for a month back in April I knew it would be tough, but I never expected to discover quite such a diversity of ideas tucked away. Some were great, some were dire, some were downright mental, but each proved that if you keep your eyes and ears peeled ideas can spring from all manner of unusual places.

The news that independent publishers Salt will no longer publish single author anthologies of poetry has got me thinking about my own complicated relationship with the form, how the trouble started way back at school and why I'm finally doing something about it.
